Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how IncomePulse (“we”, “us”) handles information when you visit our website, create an account, or use the product to plan around irregular income. We aim to collect as little as possible and to be specific about what we do with it.

IncomePulse is a planning and calculation product. We do not provide financial, tax, legal, or investment advice, and this policy does not change that.

We collect only the information you choose to give us, including:

• Account and profile information — name, email, password hash, and optional profile preferences.
• Financial planning inputs — manual cash balances, income entries, expense entries, scenarios, and tax-buffer settings you enter into the product.
• Contact form submissions — your name, email, topic, and message when you contact us.
• Newsletter and marketing consent — recorded only when you opt in.
• Cookie and analytics preferences — your choices stored locally and, where applicable, on our servers.

IncomePulse is manual-first. We do not currently connect to bank accounts, accounting software, or payment processors on your behalf. If we add such integrations, they will be opt-in and described before you enable them.

We use the information you provide to:

• operate your account and authenticate you;
• run planning calculations (runway, safe spend, tax buffers, scenarios) based on the assumptions you enter;
• respond to your support and contact requests;
• send transactional emails (security, account, and product notifications you have asked for);
• improve product reliability and quality;
• send marketing emails only if you have explicitly opted in.

All calculations are based on user-provided assumptions. IncomePulse does not verify your inputs against external accounts and does not make decisions for you.

• We do not sell your personal information.
• We do not use your financial inputs to provide automated investment, tax, legal, or financial advice.
• We do not share your individual financial inputs with advertisers or marketing partners.
• We do not subscribe you to marketing emails just because you signed up, contacted support, or downloaded something. Marketing requires a separate opt-in.

Marketing consent is optional and unchecked by default. If you opt in, you can update your preferences or unsubscribe at any time using the email preferences and unsubscribe links in our emails or on our website.

We send a limited set of transactional messages — for example, account verification, password resets, security alerts, and notices that materially affect your use of the product. These are not marketing and you cannot opt out of them while you have an active account.

You can manage marketing preferences from your account settings or the email preferences page, and unsubscribe from any marketing email through the link in the message footer.

We share information only with vendors that help us operate the product — for example hosting, database, email delivery, and error monitoring providers. These providers process information on our behalf under contractual obligations.

We may disclose information when required by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of IncomePulse, our users, or others.

We use industry-common practices including encryption in transit, access controls, and authenticated APIs to protect your information. No internet service is perfectly secure, and we do not claim “bank-level” security or any specific certification we have not actually obtained. If we ever obtain a formal certification, we will list it here.

We retain account and planning data for as long as your account is active. You can delete content from within the product, and you can request account deletion by emailing support@incomepulse.space. We may retain limited records for legitimate business or legal reasons after deletion.

You can review and edit most of your information from your account. To request export or deletion, email support@incomepulse.space. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

IncomePulse is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact legal@incomepulse.space.

IncomePulse may be accessed from anywhere in the world. By using the product, you understand that information may be processed in jurisdictions different from your own. Region-specific terms (for example, EEA, UK, or California disclosures) will be added here before any production launch in those regions.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date and, where appropriate, notify you in-product or by email.
